I absolutely love this simple, two-ingredient cocktail. It’s fresh, works perfectly for brunch and works well at night. You will need vodka, orange juice and ice.
Here are three tips for making it best:
*Use Good Vodka. There are only two ingredients so choose something mid- to high-shelf. We usually have Ketel One or Stoli in our kitchen, but use what you love.
*Try Fresh Orange Juice. If you have the time, fresh squeezed orange juice is best. It’s less sweet and tastes better than store-bought. If you need to use store-bought, choose a bottle that is 100% orange juice.
*Keep everything really cold. We keep the orange juice and vodka chilled then to make it, we stir well after pouring it over ice.

The only word of caution I have for you is this. Oranges and orange juice are high in carbs, so enjoy in moderation for both reasons – carbs and drinking responsibly!Ingredients needed to make a Screwdriver:
*Vodka – while you could use any vodka for this recipe, a higher quality spirit is best.
*Orange juice – it goes without saying the fresh squeezed orange juice is best, but bottled will do just fine.
*Ice – Use ice cubes rather than crushed ice so that it melts slower and doesn’t water down your drink.
*Garnish – Traditionally this drink is garnished with an orange slice or wedge.

Screwdrivers are popular for brunch, and like the Bloody Mary, on morning flights! They are also great for tailgating and backyard parties.
